Lynne Ricart is Fred’s better half, and Fred would be the first one to admit that.

Lynne Meadows Ricart is a native of Canal Winchester who first met a young and handsome Fred Ricart when the two were in high school. They married after Fred returned from Case Western Reserve to join his father, the late Paul F. Ricart, at the dealership. Fred and Lynne have five great kids, including Rick and Ross who both work at Ricart.

Because she’s been involved in hundreds of TV commercials with Fred, Lynne is among Central Ohio’s most recognized women. You can say they are Ricart’s dynamic duo: Fred is the advertising icon for Ricart, but Lynne is the icon for Ricart Imports. Clearly, she’s the most visible woman in the Columbus auto scene.

Lynne is the daughter of Anne Meadows, of Canal Winchester, and late John Meadows. Her family operated the Wigwam restaurant for many years in Canal Winchester.

Lynne is passionate about anything to do with children, seniors and quality family life. She has been involved with United Methodist Women, Ballet Met, Toys for Tots, United Way and Parent Teacher Organizations. She sings and plays guitars at nursing homes and heads school fundraisers.

Her most favorite charity is St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Ricart annually supports Musicians Against Childhood Cancer/ Bluegrass Classic held at Hoover-Y Park in Columbus. The four-day event has raised $500,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 10 years.
